A car breakdown on a highway? That is kinda scary! Good thing you were able to pull over before the engine stopped! Well, having a car break down, whether on a highway or not, should be taken seriously. I’m sure by now your mechanic was able to check the car. What’s his verdict regarding the breakdown? I suggest that before you hit the road; check the under the hood and your warning lights to know should anything be wrong. And keep your mechanic’s contact information handy in the event of unexpected car issues. Drive safely!

Oh my, car breakdowns (whenever it is) are always frustrating. But I think, as far as the pictures tell, the traffic situation isn't heavy, which makes the breakdown less disturbing to other drivers. Is the car working now? I hope so, and I hope there will be no breakdowns in the future! :)

Hi Michela, thanks for your concern and advise! the car is 6 years old now, i guess it needs a more regular maintenance.

Hi Erwin, i actually stopped in the middle of heavy traffic. I was so nervous because i'm disturbing other drivers. A policeman helped to push my car to the side of road and tow truck came much later when the traffic has subside.

yes the car is working now :)

How long did you stay on the highway? Like what others have said, it is dangerous to have a car breakdown in the middle of a highway, especially during rush hour. What did the repairmen say the problem was with your car? Seeing as how it took 2 days for your car to get repaired, I’m thinking it must be serious. Anyway, how is the car? Do you still drive it?
